Oh God...
How long has it been since I've been here...
I'm a bad blogger. I've been so busy. Saving up money.
To get THIS!:

My first Lolita skirt... I'm getting it in pink and wearing it the Wednesday I get back to school.
Oh yeah, that's right. I'm coolies. Will post pics here and on my deviantart page. My honey, Xavii-kun will probably take pics of me this week or at school. (Self promo much, plz?)
----
So on what to type now? I might remember to type now... Instead of being a bad mommy to my blog.
Oh... let's type on something MODERN with a Rococo influence: Elegant Gothic Lolitas (Oh yeah, let's be attention whores for a while... Lolita is something that is sure to get some talk after this is posted in EGL or Lalolitas on Livejournal.)

Lolita is a style. But it is not just that. It is a lifestyle of elegance. Although it's name may cause the misinterpretations of other to get in the way of what it truly is (thanks ALOT Vladmir Nabokov.)
From the dark Gothic, to the deconstructed Punk, to the pink and white Sweet and every girl in between, Lolita is a style of variety. There may be a certain rule and guideline to what a Lolita looks like, but because of the creative minds and DIY attitude of some Lolita, there will always be a new substyle coming along (Ninja Lolita, hiya! Tsunderekko-chan, unite!)
Many Lolitas enjoy a hobby that will often be considered elegant and dainty that sets her apart from others. I, myself, enjoy drawing and crafting (bows and such.) Sometimes baking and poetry & prose, too.
But just because a girl puts on her Lolita finest doesn't mean she can't be a bit of a... "chienne."
(that's French for a bit of a bad word.)
Sometimes, a Lolita can get HIGHLY offended... if you say ANYTHING about her outfit being a costume.
Some Lolitas may asphyxiate you with her bonnet. Or beat you up with her parasol.
I just try to explain it to you before you say that in front of a half past insane Loli.
I warned you!!!

Well. in about a few days, I should have some pics up on here. I'll get my hair done in ringlets, probably.
(I shall make LOVE to the camera, with my bad-ass Lolita self.)
I'm that awesome.
I bid you all adieu...

Mini essay: If I... (Rococo period life)

If I were to be born in any other period of time, I’d like to be born at the height of the Rococo period, France. Sister of a soon-to-be queen, the family of nobility. Of course, my name would have much more meaning back then & be much more lovely! My room would be graced with beautiful golden decorative plant ornaments, with leaf veins of silver. My curtains of lace would let the moonlight gently pour in as I sleep & the sunlight glisten on the gold during sunrise. I pray it wakes me! I’d go to my Versailles-style wardrobe & pick out any dresses I fancy at the time. My dresses would be adorned in lace, frills, bows, & lovely light pastel colors. It’d take me a little while to get dressed, so please wait for me, we’re in no rush anyways. I would long for a stroll in the garden among the roses. God, I hope I don’t prick my finger on a thorn. I’d stay in the garden, getting purposely lost until it is time for a quick lunch. I’d like a cake. A really pretty one that’s ALMOST too cute to eat. I’d like to indulge on the fine things in life. Yes, Monsieur Chef, the cake was lovely. Sister-darling & I would go into our parlor for about 2 or 3 hours to look at the paintings on the wall. One is a portrait of us when we were 9.And some others make me laugh gleefully. In another room somewhere, I can hear someone playing music & I’d sing along, making up my own words to the song while still looking at the pictures. A few of the paintings would be mine. A few are special to me. One is a landscape my sister & I once painted on her birthday, looking out into the distance from the 3rd floor balcony. And one is a portrait of my love I finished a while back. Both my sister & I would be betrothed to nobility, also. I’d go to sleep early, unlike many of the other nobles who stay up all night redoing many of the things I’ve already done or throwing a ball. I am the only girl in the Rococo period who has woken to see the sun rise.
(I'm typing this on the school computer. So some of the font I use isn't supported. Isn't that unfair?)
Here's some new links for you all:

Candy Violet (typed in violet for... well, violet.):

That's all I acn give you until I get home. This school doesn't let me search the word "lolita" on Google. So sad.
Ciao.

Rococo love chocolate?

You know what I found utterly adorable? http://rococochocolates.com/valentines.html
And the section these chocolates are in have the same name as this blog. These chocolates look so... yum. That's the ONLY word that comes to mind. J'Adore chocolate. These lovelyococo chocolates are priced in pounds, though... So I suggest you find a converter if you are the type who lets no sour touch your tongue and only sweet will satisfy you.
Go ahead... indulge, my loves.
♥♥♥
In other news... I'm choosing a ococo style background for my art project...
Why?
Take a guess.
I guess that is all for now... Toodles

Rococo Love... welcome

"A style of 18th century French art and interior design, ococo style rooms were designed as total works of art with elegant and ornate furniture, small sculptures, ornamental mirrors, and tapestry complementing architecture, reliefs, and wall paintings."

The ococo Style of art is one of my personal favorite... EVER.
Whether it be from the lovely interior of the Powderham Castle...
OR the style of modern day lolitas that walk the street of big cities in Japan...
ococo style has to be one of the best I can think of.

Let it be known that I am Madame Desir
èe.
I'd like to bid you... adieu.
