Mini essay: If I... (Rococo period life)

If I were to be born in any other period of time, I’d like to be born at the height of the Rococo period, France. Sister of a soon-to-be queen, the family of nobility. Of course, my name would have much more meaning back then & be much more lovely! My room would be graced with beautiful golden decorative plant ornaments, with leaf veins of silver. My curtains of lace would let the moonlight gently pour in as I sleep & the sunlight glisten on the gold during sunrise. I pray it wakes me! I’d go to my Versailles-style wardrobe & pick out any dresses I fancy at the time. My dresses would be adorned in lace, frills, bows, & lovely light pastel colors. It’d take me a little while to get dressed, so please wait for me, we’re in no rush anyways. I would long for a stroll in the garden among the roses. God, I hope I don’t prick my finger on a thorn. I’d stay in the garden, getting purposely lost until it is time for a quick lunch. I’d like a cake. A really pretty one that’s ALMOST too cute to eat. I’d like to indulge on the fine things in life. Yes, Monsieur Chef, the cake was lovely. Sister-darling & I would go into our parlor for about 2 or 3 hours to look at the paintings on the wall. One is a portrait of us when we were 9.And some others make me laugh gleefully. In another room somewhere, I can hear someone playing music & I’d sing along, making up my own words to the song while still looking at the pictures. A few of the paintings would be mine. A few are special to me. One is a landscape my sister & I once painted on her birthday, looking out into the distance from the 3rd floor balcony. And one is a portrait of my love I finished a while back. Both my sister & I would be betrothed to nobility, also. I’d go to sleep early, unlike many of the other nobles who stay up all night redoing many of the things I’ve already done or throwing a ball. I am the only girl in the Rococo period who has woken to see the sun rise.
(I'm typing this on the school computer. So some of the font I use isn't supported. Isn't that unfair?)
Here's some new links for you all:

That's all I acn give you until I get home. This school doesn't let me search the word "lolita" on Google. So sad.
Ciao.
